#Standing4BlackGirls/Womens Leadership Project Paid Internships
2023-2024
Sponsored by the Women’s Leadership Project and Black Skeptics, the #S4BG internship is designed to provide Black girls, femmes and queer youth, ages 14-25, with paid peer education, writing, publishing, public speaking, policymaking, organizing, and civic engagement experience, with a focus on Black feminist humanist gender and racial justice in L.A. County and South L.A. communities. Interns are required to attend monthly #S4BG Zoom planning meetings and to complete at least one other additional monthly task/project as specified in their application. Interns can choose other activities that they’re interested in participating in as their school or work schedules permit. Interns will receive a monthly stipend of $200.
